The Wool Gas Jacket 02

This springs newest style, The Wool Gas Jackets, inspired by the gas/garage jackets that rose to popularity throughout the 1950s. In a post WWIl world, a boom in the automotive industry meant an increased need for mechanics and repair specialists.
Originally worn as a uniform for the mechanics these jackets have stuck around as a practical and stylish option for their simplistic yet durable design. Pulling influence from the original style, the Pony Gas Jackets feature two front welt pockets, back pleats for ease of movement, and a custom Pony patch on the chest. I will be releasing this style in small batches, of one of one or one of two, as they are finished. Each one will be a variation on this style, cut from the same pattern and made from a different dead stock Italian wool fabric.

Made from a dead stock lightweight 100% wool suiting and lined with a lightweight cotton. Features two front welt pockets, a chest pocket, and an inside pocket. It has a custom pony patch on the chest and mother of pearl buttons.

Best suited for a mens small and a womens small/medium depending on desired fit.
